From November to February, CS moves indoors! The same rules as outdoor CS though more strict on rider contact. Shorter tracks with a 1m wide centre green makes for frantic action, lots of lean in the corners and lots of overtaking!

Clubs band together to run indoor sessions from November. A sports hall with 5 badminton courts is large enough for sessions; 2×3 badminton courts is plenty of space for racing, spectators and a pit area.
Outdoor bikes are cleaned for indoor. Anything that could scratch a floor is covered (wheel nuts, handlebar grip collars etc). Slick tyres are fitted, and cleaned regularly for maximum grip and lean – even a little dust from an unpolished floor could limit your speed or cause a tumble!
Gearing is usually unchanged, though smaller radius slick tyres lower the gearing slightly for frantic action.
